Science-Based Targets Initiative

195 countries signed up to the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, committing themselves to limiting global warming to below 2 degrees celsius. The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTI) is a collaboration between the CDP, WRI, WWF and UN Global Compact. By signing up and committing to Science Based Targets, organisations aim to decarbonise, reducing their emissions in line with what is necessary (as dictated by science) to ensure reduction of global warming.

We work with a range of organisations, including some of the world’s largest businesses, to develop science based targets – including for their entire supply chain. We can help your organisation to determine its current baseline emissions, develop targets, and we have scenario tools to help you understand how they can be met.
